Public inboxes

SableMail inboxes are public by design. Anyone who knows or guesses an inbox name may be able to open that inbox and view messages sent to that address.

Because inboxes are public, users must not send or receive sensitive, confidential, financial, medical, legal, private, or personal information through SableMail.

Temporary email storage

Emails received by SableMail are stored temporarily so they can be shown inside the inbox. Messages may be automatically deleted after the configured retention period.

Email content

Incoming emails may include sender details, recipient details, subject lines, timestamps, and message content. This information is used only to display messages in the temporary inbox.
